How long does a dispute take?
The bureaus have 30 days from the day they RECEIVE your letter, not the day we post it. Certified mail usually takes three to five days to arrive, so a round runs about five weeks end to end.
Nothing changed after my first round. Is it not working?
One round rarely clears everything. A bureau that verifies an account has to say how it verified it, and that answer is what the next round disputes. Most results land in rounds two and three.
Can you guarantee something comes off my report?
No, and nobody legally can. Accurate information stays. What we can do is make the bureaus prove what they are reporting, which is your right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Why do you need my ID?
Bureaus ask for it when they challenge who sent a dispute. Without one on file a round can stall for weeks. It lives under Documents.
What does a mail credit pay for?
One certified letter to one bureau, printed, posted and tracked. A round of three letters uses three credits.
How do I cancel?
Billing, then Cancel my plan. You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for, and letters already mailed carry on being tracked.
